Hot Spot
North Hollywood speaks Armenian, English, Hebrew, Russian, and Spanish.
Across the street from this clinic are Armenian businesses, including a grocery store where Russian and English are also spoken. Like other spots lining Victory Blvd. near Van Nuys Blvd., the store sells food from Armenia, Russia, Turkey, and elsewhere.
Send your horizontal photos and brief descriptions of linguistic Hot Spots in Greater Los Angeles to lalamag@international.ucla.edu. (Submissions become our property. As a rule, we edit and cut text, and edit and crop photos.)
